Volunteering

Volunteers not only provide needed resources for Catholic Charities, but also allows us to offer more compassionate services to people in need.  In return, we attempt to provide each of our volunteers with an enriching experience that matches their interests and enhances the quality of their lives.

Some of our volunteer opportunities:

FOOD

Organize Food Drives
Package food to be distributed to the hungry
Screen clients

BASIC HUMAN NEEDS

Assist at our health fairs
Assemble hygiene packs

SUPPORT SERVICES

Perform reception tasks
Help with mailings

Family Opportunities:

Family Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to spend a little extra time with your family and there is no better time to teach your children the joys of giving and the importance of community then when they are young.

For information about Family Volunteering at any of our 5 sites, call the site that is closest to you and ask for the Volunteer Coordinator.  They will be able to tell you of site specific opportunities for you and your family.

Through Partnership We Succeed

Catholic Charities’ hope is to become even better partners with the parishes in the Diocese of Fresno in our common mission to serve God’s poor.  We have seven Sites that can provide volunteer opportunities for parishioners to learn about more about Catholic Charities’ services and needs.
