Central Valley Catholic Charities collaborates with private and public organizations that seek to map out strategies for the organization and mobilization of rural communities in the areas of empowerment, economic development and health.

Grants made possible from the California Endowment, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the Irvine Foundation provide the funding for Catholic Charities Community Builders to facilitate and stimulate partnerships for civic participation in areas of health education, economic development, farm worker housing, health advocacy, and youth relationship violence prevention, in and around the Central Valley's. Catholic Charities Community Builders attempt to empower those we serve empower themselves.
